i am loving these canisters.

lovely dishware :

i have a thing for pitchers
and when i say "thing"
it means i so a little wiggle and squeal
that makes Handsome Man raise his eyebrows
and slowly make his escape to a more sane part of the house.
that boy...

leaves, leaves, leaves
if it has leaves on it
especially modern-style leaves
then i love it and want it and need it
unless its expensive
and then i still love it and want it
but don't need it.
sniffle.

i also go weak in the knees
from a good floral pitcher.
could there be anything more classic granny-chic?
i say NO.

but the past cannot take all the credit for producing
delightfully lovely pitchers.
there are some delicious dishware floating around these days
especially at ModCloth.
( personally, any company with a mushroom next to their name
has me as a fanatic-life-long-loyal customer)

now keep in mind that these are teapots
not pitchers
but they still pour liquid
so hop on into my cupboards please.

i am obsessed with folk art
but that last teapot is especially dear to my heart
the color combo, the flowers.
anyone wanna lend me $34.99??? heeee

EDITED TO ADD
there are matching cupsssssssssssssssssssssssssss
ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh
i will be needing additional funds
so i may purchase at least ... 43 ... of these darling cups.

Pyrex Friendship

the lovely sister-in-law Bodie
is in a far away land
well known for its delightful thrifting stores.

i am jealous.
grrrr.

i asked her to keep her eyes open
for my favorite of dishes : Pyrex.
oh Pyrex, how i love you.

guess what she found?

a bowl from the Friendship set.
i'm not sure if its the large or small
since she hasn't come home yet.

but i cannot waaaaaaiiiittttt.
here's a better picture to view the pattern

mmmmm. Pyrex makes my heart happy.
as does my new bowl :)
come home soon Bodie.
we miss you
[and i want my bowl, heeee]

these would be their babies.

Kitchen needs some christmas cheer :)

off to try to temper the disaster known as Little Man
[ he's into everything...everything these days ]
[ curious little tyrant ]
