lovely project : felt doll for Little Lady

i happened upon this DIY project

whilst reading one of my favorite blogs

ever since i saw it

i knew i wanted to make it for 

Little Lady's church bag.

so this morning Little Lady and i printed off the templates

here and here

and decided what colors of felt we wanted to use for each clothing piece

later today we'll head over to Hobby Lobby

- sigh, so many wonderful things all stocked together -

and purchase the felt.

then we'll be busy cutting cutting cutting

all the clothes out!

i think i'm going to add a few pieces of my own.

Olivia Mew made these felt dresses [ above ] 

hand-stitched after vintage dresses.

my heart pitter patters with delight!

i'm going to pull out all my vintage bits and bobs

- lace, buttons, pearls, etc. -

to decorate Little Lady's felt clothing.

we're pretty excited :)
